Job description: Warehouse Manager – Port ElizabethFull job descriptionPURPOSE OF THE JOBTo be responsible in its entirety for all Warehousing, Logistical and related Operational functions in the Port Elizabeth, including but not limited to the managing & optimization of the warehousing function, dispatch , receiving, stock control, stock levels, housekeeping, reporting and staff management to ensure compliance and customer satisfaction at all times.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES· Stock write offs < 0.2% of Turnover· Ongoing reduction of customer complaints· OTIF (On Time In Full) >98%Key Responsibilities:· Manage daily receiving, planning, coordination, recording, systems, dispatch, yard and warehouse activities.· Go through the automated back order list to ensure back orders that stock has arrived goes out and due dates are met· Constantly monitor delivery routes to try maximize space on the truck or save costs and eliminate over time· Complete daily audit and compliance related check sheets.· Ensure all stock is packed away daily.· Ensure Back Orders are supplied the next day.· Ensure the required productivity, housekeeping and order levels are maintained daily· All aspect of stockholding, accuracy, security, storage conditions, levels, systems, etc. to be properly managed, with a strict adherence to FIFO· Resolve, report and record any offloading, system, staff, rejects etc errors and problems to management immediately· Ensure full compliance at all times with all Food Safety systems, Occupational health and safety regulations and company policies.· Ensure all internal stock transfers is executed timeously.· Manage an optimize the productivity of all warehouse staff· Organizing casuals when needed· Oversee Receiving and Dispatch supervisors and ensure their Key Responsibilities are met.· Ensure credit notes are processed timeously.· Any other Ad Hoc duties given by Management.REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION & WORK EXPERIENCE· Minimum 5 years solid inbound (receiving) experience or logistics experience within a manufacturing concern· Degree or Diploma in Operations, Logistics or Supply Chain is essential· Reliable own transport and valid drivers’ license· Detail orientated· Excellent planning skills· Knowledge of stock controlling, processing and ability to report on variances· Task orientated· Min 3 years staff managementJob Type: Full-timePay: R14 000,00 – R15 000,00 per monthEducation:High School (matric) (Preferred)Experience:Warehouse management system: 5 years (Required)logistics: 3 years (Preferred)distribution management: 3 years (Preferred)License/Certification:drivers lisence (Required)
