Job description: HR & Payroll Administrator (Property Industry) MidrandTo start as soon as possible or Beginning January 2025One of our large Property Investments clients based in Midrand are urgently in need of a, well-presented and well-spoken HR & Payroll Administrator within the Property Industry to start immediately, or beginning January 2025.Salary: R20 000 R25 000 depending on experience within the industryWorking Hours: Monday to Friday 07:00-16:00; (Have to be at work at least 15min before official start time every day)Would be better if the person stays either in Midrand or direct surrounding areas to avoid transport issues or far distances to travel to workJob Purpose:The HR and Payroll Administrator is responsible for overseeing and directing payroll procedures, ensuring compliance with laws and tax obligations and maintaining accurate payroll records. They also coordinate all administrative activities related to an organizations personnel, including developing recruitment strategies, implementing systems for managing staff benefits, payroll and behaviour, and onboarding new employees.Requirements:Grade 12Age 25-50Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Accounting or a related field qualificationAt least 5 years experience in Payroll as well as HR administrationAdvanced computer skills, including data entry, data processing, communication tools and payroll and HR Software (We work with SAGE HR & Payroll)Preferably non-smoker as this position does not allow for smoke breaks to be taken during working hoursMust have drivers license and own transport.Duties:Oversee and direct payroll procedures and processesEnsure compliance with applicable laws and payroll tax obligationsProcess payroll account transactions (e.g. salaries, benefits, garnishments, deductions, taxes, and third-party payments)Coordinate timekeeping systems review digital and manual timesheetsOversee payroll changes and system upgradesCollaborate with CFO/FM and finance teamLiaise with auditors for payroll tax auditsMaintaining physical and digital files for employees and their documents, attendance and all related recordsResolve payroll-related issuesPrepare reports for weekly, quarterly and yearly reviewsRecognizing importance of accuracy to consistently maintain attention to detail in all aspects of HR and Payroll administrationOnboard new employees creating onboarding plans and educating newly hired employees on HR policies, internal procedures and regulationsAssist with Company policies and KPA implementation and upkeepAdept at managing multiple tasks with precision with a high level of organization and commitment to meeting deadlines.Ensure all Statutory submissions e.g.: COIDA, ROE, FEM, EMP, EEA, SETAPlease send comprehensive CV to info@j2eplacements.co.za and quote HRPAYROLLPROP as subject when sending CV.
