Job description: Job Summary We are currently seeking a highly organized and experienced Transport Controller to join our company in Umbilo, Durban. Key Responsibilities: Must be able to pay attention to detail and analytical ability. Must be able to work under pressure. Must be of sober habits. Must have excellent communication skills. Must be able to take instructions from management and work independently. Must be familiar with routes between JHB, CPT, DBN, BLM, PE (N1 , Eastern Cape and Western Cape) Vehicle Checklist/inspection. Must be able to use tracking systems Must be able to keep track of daily loads Provide diesel orders for drivers Must be able to liaise with customers and book truck loads Must be able to provide hourly updates and monitor delivery to ensure drivers arrive on time Log breakdowns Monitor trucks, driver, diesel and PODs on a daily base Please note that due to the nature of the industry, it is expected to receive calls from our logistics partners after normal working hours from time to time. **No calls will be accepted ** Please email CV to
