Job description: Our Manufacturing Client based in Northern Cape is looking for a Boilermaker
Salary up to R30 000 based on experienceMinimum requirements:
- Ensure effective planning of maintenance
- Communicate stock levels and stock shortages
- Control stock levels and critical spares
- Manage budget effectively
- Maintain quality and ISO standards
- Ensure adherence to preventative maintenance
- Manage and control stock losses
- Plan and control of overtime and wage costs
- Ensure housekeeping is up to standard
- Ensure the effectiveness is executive on the cost of maintenance and electricity.
- Develop, motivate, train and appraise direct reporting staff
- Performing of additional tasks as and when required and performing it to best of ability and according to company standards and procedures
- Adhere to health, safety and bio security policies, procedures, standards, and practices.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES
- Grade 12 (NQF 4)
- NTC3 / Qualified Boilermaker/ Welder or equivalent qualification.
- Ability to do design and layout pipes. (Compulsory)
- Ability to weld all sorts of steel e.g. stainless / mild / cast Iron. (Compulsory)
- 3 Years’ trade experience in a related field.
- Proficient in English, being bilingual will be highly advantageous.
- Valid Code B drivers’ license and own reliable transport
- Be willing to work shifts (Day/Night), weekends, Sundays, on external sites, overtime and on public holidays when necessary.
