Job description: Job SummaryJob Purpose:Oversee maintenance and supervise the maintenance staff at the Malmesbury facility.Reporting to:Maintenance ManagerResponsibilities:Planned Maintenance:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.
- Ensure completion of issued job cards.
- Maintain an effective turnaround time for corrective and preventive maintenance tasks.
- Ensure job cards are filled out correctly.
- Manage and prioritize the worklist based on available resources.
- Return and complete maintenance check sheets accurately.
Unplanned Maintenance:
- Ensure the maintenance team responds promptly to reported breakdowns.
- Accurately report downtime details.
- Maintain a high standard of work quality.
Site Housekeeping:
- Keep maintenance areas clean and organized at all times.
General Duties:
- Take ownership of the designated facility.
- Ensure the area meets their standards.
- Report any deviations from policies and procedures.
- Be available for standby duties.
- Ensure area temperatures are within specifications.
People Management:
- Supervise the maintenance crew.
- Foster a positive team attitude.
- Follow up on completed work.
- Monitor staff timekeeping.
SHEQ ComplianceRequirements
- Grade 12
- Millwright or Electrician trade test
Experience:
- 3 to 5 years of proven electrical/mechanical experience
- 3 to 5 years of supervisory experience
