- Asset Management – Responsible for the branch, ensure the store is kept neat and tidy and co-ordination of repair and maintenance in the store.
- Stock Control – Responsible for all stock and held accountable for all overages and shortages, prepare requisitions to replenish stock, identify and report slow selling items, conduct stock takes
- Merchandising – Co-ordinate the layout of shelves and merchandise of seasonal and sale displays, identify new ways of promoting merchandise, ensure housekeeping standards are met, Manage quality and quantity aspects of the merchandise assortments.
- Marketing and Sales – Manage the implementation of all marketing promotions to ensure maximum sales, prepare and direct staff who are preparing displays, actively participate in promotions, stay up to date with advertising trends, provide Leadership to staff, stay current with products, marketing and pricing, achieve and exceed store targets, Organise special promotions sales and events, Initiate changes and improvements Admin and Cash
- Management of Staff – Assign employees to duties, Encourage, assist and train employees, manage performance and develop staff, ensure procedures and policies are being adhered to and enforce disciplinary action where required, determine when temp. staff required, recruit staff, attend and facilitate meetings
- Security / Risk – Manage all aspects of the business, monitor security staff and ensure they are alert in performing their duties, Ensure Health & Safety Standards are met
- Customer Service – apply Customer service in a friendly and enthusiastic manner, Train staff in Customer services, assist with customer queries and complaints, satisfy Customer needs and attract Clientele
