Job description: OverviewTo enhance service levels provided to Partners, Agents, the Company’s overseas offices and customers. Managing all shipment bookings and quotesMain accountabilities include:
- Liaise with Airlines ground handling agents and the company’s overseas offices and overseas agents.
- Liaise with clients and agents on a daily basis via email and telephonically.
- Monitor, receive and send pre alerts to clients as frequently as possible.
- Register documents and invoice files.
- Keeping import files up to date at all times.
- Track all Ocean freight quotes, pre-alerts, forwarding and follow ups.
- Fully comply with the Company Health & Safety policy.
- Fully comply with the Company Security Regulations.
- Fully comply with Company handling procedures.
- Implement and adhere to policies and procedures as directed in the Company Employee Handbook
- Carry out any other reasonable task as requested by your manager.
- Work diligently in order to complete the days work within normal working hours.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Relevant qualification and/or industry experience.
- Proven verbal and written communication skills.
- Effective decision maker.
- Ability to motive and drive a successful team.
- Ability to plan and prioritise tasks.
- Team player.
Expected salary: R13000 – 16000 per month
