The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP data tools and technologies, as well as a deep understanding of data architecture and engineering best practices.Key Responsibilities:

• Data Pipeline Development: Design, develop, and manage scalable data pipelines using SAP tools (e.g., SAP BW/4HANA, SAP Data Services, SAP HANA) to facilitate the movement, transformation, and integration of data across systems.
• Data Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SAP data with other data platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud), ensuring smooth data flow and availability for analytics and reporting.
• Data Architecture: Work closely with data architects to design robust, scalable data solutions aligned with best practices and business requirements.
• Data Modelling: Build and optimize complex data models in SAP environments to enable efficient data storage, access, and analysis, supporting various business use cases.
• Data Quality and Governance: Implement data quality checks, validation processes, and governance practices to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance.
• Performance Optimization: Monitor and tune the performance of data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes to meet system performance and data processing requirements.
• Collaboration and Documentation: Collaborate with stakeholders across teams to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and document solutions, providing clear and comprehensive documentation for all data engineering activities.
• Innovation and Best Practices: Stay updated with the latest SAP data technologies, industry trends, and best practices, continuously enhancing our data engineering processes and tools.

Requirements:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field (Master’s Degree preferred).
• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in a data engineering role, with a focus on SAP data tools and platforms.
• Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in SAP data platforms, including SAP HANA, SAP BW/4HANA, SAP Data Services, and SAP Data Intelligence.
• Strong SQL and ETL development skills, with experience in data extraction, transformation, and integration.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and experience integrating SAP data into cloud environments.
• Experience with data modelling, data warehousing concepts, and building optimized data structures for analytics.
• Familiarity with data governance, data quality standards, and data security best practices.
• Programming skills in Python, Java, or similar languages are a plus.
• Soft Skills:

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP BW/4HANA, SAP HANA).
• Experience with machine learning and advanced analytics on SAP platforms.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and BI reporting.
