- Communicate with suppliers, build and maintain relationships, request quotes, and follow up on
deliveries. * Assist with supplier evaluations.
- Support negotiations to secure the best prices, terms, and discounts for products.
- Analyze trends, customer preferences, and competitor activity to support the selection of
products that align with market demand. * Monitor stock levels, assist in forecasting product demand, and help avoid overstocking or stockouts.
- Analyze sales data, reports, and KPIs to support decision-making and identify areas for product or purchasing improvement.
- Prepare and place purchase orders, track orders, and update relevant systems as needed.
- Request and analyse quotations and cost breakdowns.
- Assist in ensuring that products meet quality standards, working closely with suppliers and quality assurance teams.
- Organize documentation, maintain records, prepare reports, and perform other administrative tasks as needed.
- Attend training sessions and participate in on-the-job learning to develop a comprehensive understanding of the buying process.
