Job description: A luxury game lodge situated in a big 5 reserve seeks the services of a skilled, energetic and creative head chef who matches the following specifications:-
- Grade 12 and a formal chef qualification – culinary diploma or higher from a recognised tertiary institution.
- Strong cheffing experience with 3 years 4/5 * experience.
- Adaptable and flexible on menus presented catering for up to 24 guests per meal
- Strong administration and have a thorough understanding of stock procedures, controls and weekly/monthly ordering.
- Must have in-depth knowledge of hygiene practices, good planning and organising skills..
- Excellent communication skills and pleasant, non-confrontational personality
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Computer literate.
