Job description: To undertake the administration of bulk customers’ accounts, advising consumers on tariffs and
preparation of statistical records.
Key Responsibility Areas
- Assists in the investigation of consumers queries and advises consumers and consultants on
tariff structures and optimum tariff selection.
- Controls all bulk consumers correspondence and agreement records and processes requests.
- Prepares bulk supply agreements, agreements for financing the electrical reticulation.
- Issues new bulk account numbers, enters all details of new consumers into computer and
upgrades changes of addresses, names, notified demands and agreement types.
- Supplies statistics to universities and other bodies as requested, regarding sales of electricity.
- Undertakes general clerical duties e.g. issuing tariff schedules and updating index of
- consumers, issuing consumers with the required information.

Essential Requirements
- Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) or equivalent and an Administrative certificate.
- Valid motor vehicle driving license.
- 3 Years relevant experience.
- Computer Literacy.
Preferred Requirements
- Diploma (NQF Level 6) in the Administration field or any other related and equivalent
qualification.
- 4 Years relevant experience.
