Hire Resolve’s client is currently seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Plant Engineer to join their mining team in the North-West province. As the Plant Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the plant equipment to ensure its optimal performance.Responsibilities:
- Manage the maintenance and repair activities of plant equipment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize plant performance and meet production targets.
- Implement and monitor maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety.
- Provide technical support and guidance to plant personnel.
- Monitor and control maintenance expenses within budgetary limits.
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- National Diploma/Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
- GCC Mines and Works
- 2-3 years’ experience in processing plants in the mining industry.
- Opencast mining experience
- Valid Drivers’ License
