ETL Developer – Johannesburg – R480K up to R680k per annumPOSITION INFO:A registered Financial Service Provider with an undivided team of diverse thinkers and doers who believe in leading through technology and pushing past their limits with innovation at its core is seeking a dynamic ETL developer who can contribute to collecting, analysing, reporting, and interpreting data for use in the development of business strategies.Responsibilities
- Defining and capturing metadata and rules associated with ETL and ELT processes.
- Responsible for the analysis, development and testing of our specialized data and analytical “recipes”.
- Working with clients to identify and understand their source data systems and data requirements.
- Perform support activities on our services to clients.
- Develop, maintain and enhance data tools and analytical services.
- Design and develop data models for analytics, reporting and data mining.
- Develop reports, dashboards, and analytical views on otherwise boring data.
- Troubleshoot problems, automate and optimise for performance.
Technologies:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Sciences, Informatics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics
- Strong understanding of ETL concepts
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a SQL Developer or similar role
- Strong proficiency with SQL, SSIS and SSAS (cubes)
- Proficient in standard business software: MS Office
- Power BI
- AWS or Azure Data
- Python
