- Conduct audits based on the CIS and NIST frameworks to assess and mitigate cybersecurity risks.
- Maintain SOX ITGC controls and perform interim and roll-forward testing.
- Prepare high-quality working papers, audit reports, and documentation for the IT Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) Committee.
- Maintain productive relationships with IT external auditors and internal stakeholders.
- Build strong partnerships with function heads to provide value-adding audit insights.
- Execute personal and team development plans to enhance professionalism and proficiency.
- Ensure adherence to corporate governance, compliance, and ethical conduct.
Job Experience & Skills Required:
Qualifications:
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Sc. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent degree/diploma.
- CISM/CISA.
Experience:
- 7–10 years of experience
- Cybersecurity auditing using CIS and NIST frameworks.
- IT auditing, with a strong focus on SOX ITGC testing and Active Directory.
- Auditing IT infrastructure, applications, and operational technology.
- IT governance frameworks, risk management, and fraud awareness.
- Mining industry experience is advantageous.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong understanding of IT environments, cybersecurity frameworks, and SOX compliance.
- Awareness of fraud indicators and the ability to assess and mitigate risks.
- Analytical Thinking: Ability to perform detailed audits and deliver actionable insights.
- Excellent interpersonal and reporting skills to foster collaboration across diverse teams.
- Commitment to ethical practices and adherence to corporate governance standards.
