Job description: Technical Sales – Renewable EnergyLocation: East RandSalary: R500 000 per annum plus petrol card and quarterly commissionDuties:? Managing the BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities.? Responsible for providing the sales team with the necessary technical expertise to enablethem to sell the product.? Effectively manage sales and promotional resources to achieve targeted sales of withinan agreed period.? Act as point of first reference for all product-related enquiries and work collaboratively withcolleagues in Product Development & Technical to address any issues that may arise.? Specifying market requirements for current products by conducting market researchsupported by on-going visits to customers and non-customers.? Developing and implementing a company-wide go-to-market plan, working with alldepartments to execute.? Analysing potential partner relationships for the product.? In collaboration with Marketing, responsible for the development of advertising, promotionand sales aids in accordance with the BESS promotional plan.? Responsible for preparing product forecasts, and constantly monitoring the market for tenders,enquiries and other sales opportunities.? Prepare and present BESS internal reports to the relevant executives, sales personneland other departments, on a regular basis.The minimum requirements for this position are:? Relevant tertiary degree or work experience is a strong plus.? Not less than 3 years of relevant sales and business development experience.? Knowledgeable of renewable energy solutions? Excellent verbal and written communication skills? Assertive / Persuasive? Attention to detail? Analytical? Initiative? Work well under pressure? Ensures consistency and accuracy of message? Delivers unified, consistent brand message to all stakeholders? Supports teams with valuable, targeted programs to drive business? This position requires travel to customer and non-customer sites in Southern Africa
Expected salary: R480000 – 500000 per year
