Job description: Durban. Three-year Diploma or Degree in Marketing / Communications / Business / PR with at least 2 years sales experience and excellent sales closing ability secures Student Advisor role with Academic Institution in the Higher Education Sector.The successful candidate will be responsible for initiating, building and managing relationships with prospective students and parents through every stage of the recruitment process and reporting on individual sales activities per set targets.Responsibilities will include student acquisition, establishing and fostering productive relationships with teachers, principals, and other relevant partners and building and managing relationships with prospective students (new) and their parents at all relevant touchpoints during the application process to the standards agreed. Administrative duties will include capturing data of leads, appointments, applications and registrations, keeping updated records of interactions with prospective students, creating student files, processing of application, preparing sales figures and statistics, and following up on payments for applications and registrations.Requirements:
- Three-year Diploma or Degree in PR / Business / Marketing / Communications / Sales (could be outside of this but then would need experience)
- At least 2 years sales experience
- Experience in managing and closing sales cycle
- Experience in working on a Customer Relationship Management software
- Experience in the higher education industry
- Customer service orientated
- Target driven and ability to work well under pressure
- Good telephone etiquette
- Proactive and highly self-motivated
- Computer literacy (Microsoft programmes)
- Must be able to travel
- Own vehicle is required
