The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and the ability to interpret and break down technical drawings for estimating purposes.Minimum Requirements:
- National Senior Certificate.
- 1-3 years of experience as an Estimator using SigmaNEST in the sheet metal manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting single part and general assembly technical drawings.
- Ability to decompose general assembly drawings into individual components for estimating.
- Identify components requiring value-added services such as rolling/bending, drilling, countersinking, machining, and welding.
- Strong knowledge of various materials.
- Proficiency in computer-aided design software, specifically SigmaNEST.
- Competence in all functions of SigmaNEST.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to use measuring equipment accurately.
- Solid technical background.
- Self-driven and a team player.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
