- Media Pitching and Outreach: Build relationships with journalists and editors, pitching newsworthy stories to secure high-quality backlinks and coverage.
- Content Creation: Craft compelling press releases, features, and commentary designed to grab media attention and drive client success.
- Campaign Management: Plan, execute, and monitor creative campaigns, meeting KPIs focused on links and online visibility.
- Trend Monitoring: Stay ahead of the news cycle to create timely, relevant pitches for clients in industries like health, lifestyle, finance, sport, and retail.
- Data-Driven Storytelling: Leverage tools like AHREFS, Semrush, or Google Trends to uncover insights that shape engaging narratives.
- Media List Management: Maintain and grow a robust database of contacts to optimize outreach efforts.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: 1-3 years in a digital PR, SEO outreach, or link-building role-preferably in an agency setting.
- Education: Degree in Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, Creative Writing, or a related field.
- SEO Knowledge: Strong understanding of how digital PR drives SEO results and website authority.
- Tools Proficiency: Experience using PR and SEO tools like MuckRack, Moz, Google Analytics, or similar.
- Industry Savvy: A deep passion for following the media landscape and trends across multiple sectors.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication with an eye for detail.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to juggle multiple projects while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
