writing and editing content, conducting web content writing, and contributing to digital marketing initiatives. Your day-to-day tasks may include crafting persuasive advertisements,
developing compelling brand narratives, and optimizing content for various marketing channels.Responsibilities:
- Develop high-quality, SEO-optimized content for e-commerce websites, including product descriptions, category pages, landing pages, and blog posts
- To drive traffic and conversions, create engaging and persuasive copy for digital marketing campaigns, including email newsletters, social media ads, and PPC campaigns
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, marketers, and developers, to ensure brand consistency and alignment with marketing objectives
- Conduct thorough research on industry trends, consumer behaviour, and competitive landscape to inform content strategy and messaging
- Tailor content to target audience demographics, preferences, and pain points, utilizing data-driven insights to optimize performance
- Proofread and edit content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence to brand voice and style guidelines
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in e-commerce marketing and copywriting, continuously refining skills and techniques
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or related field
- Proven experience (3+ years) as a marketing copywriter within a digital marketing agency, focusing on e-commerce marketing in all channels
- Exceptional writing skills with a keen eye for detail and a mastery of grammar, punctuation, and syntax
- Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices for content optimization
- Proficiency in crafting persuasive copy that drives action and conversion across various digital channels
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines
- Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and a knack for understanding consumer behaviour
- Experience with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Salesforce) and familiarity with product listing optimization
