The ideal candidate will provide technical support to Financial Advisors and deliver exceptional client service, contributing to the overall success of the firm. This role will also involve administrative duties for an Asset Manager, offering valuable exposure to Category II Fund ManagersRequirements:Grade 12Bachelor’s degree or currently studying towards a degree in Financial Planning, Financial Services, or a related field.Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Planning (or currently pursuing) is advantageousRE5 CertificationClass of Business training completed.Knowledge of Category II licenses and exposure to Category II fund managers is advantageousProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).Advanced skills in MS Word and Excel.Experience with financial planning software such as Xplan, Xtools, Integrated Wealth Planner, Asset Map, @work, Commspace, etcExposure to asset management and Category II fund managers is advantageous.Willingness to accompany Financial Advisors to client meetingsOwn TransportDuties include, but are not limited to:Technical Support:Provide investment planning support to Financial Advisors, including research and analysis of client portfolios.Prepare and collate client financial reviews and reports for Financial Advisors.Review investment transactions and implement changes as necessaryClient Engagement:Prepare minutes of client meetings and maintain accurate records of advice and proposals.Conduct client needs analysis and offer advisory support services.Provide regular reports and updates to clients.Investigate and resolve client queries promptlyAdministrative Support:Liaise between internal and external investment administration and specialist service departments.Assist with coordination, prioritization, and monitoring of paraplanning work requests.Assist with administrative duties related to short-term insurance, including quotations and claims management.Provide administrative support for asset management activities, including tasks associated with Category II fund managersCompliance and Professional Development:Ensure completion of tasks in line with FSP policies, procedures, and workflows.Maintain and develop professional knowledge to meet current industry, FSP, and legislative requirements.Assist in the collation and production of management reports as neededPlease send comprehensive CV together with Point statements (Matric and University) to info@j2eplacements.co.za and quote PLANNER2025 as subject when sending CV.
