Job Type: Full-timeSalary: R 20 000 – R 25 000 + AccommodationWe are seeking a skilled Fruit Packhouse Manager to oversee the operations of our fruit packing facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the packing process, ensuring the quality and efficiency of operations, and leading a team of packhouse workers.Responsibilities:– Oversee the daily operations of the fruit packing facility, including receiving, sorting, grading, packing, and shipping of fruit
– Ensure that all packing processes are carried out efficiently and effectively to meet production targets
– Monitor and maintain high standards of quality control for all packed fruit
– Manage inventory levels and ensure timely production and shipment of packed fruit
– Develop and implement standard operating procedures for packing processes
– Lead, train, and supervise a team of packhouse workers to ensure a smooth and productive operation
– Maintain a safe and clean working environment in compliance with health and safety regulations
– Collaborate with other departments such as production, logistics, and sales to ensure smooth operations

*Matric / Garde 12
*Must be able to work with his hands
*Knowledge mechanical and/or electrical is a big advantage
*Must have strong numerical skills
*Any previous farm or operational experience is a big plus
*Valid drivers license (code 10 or Code 14
*Computer literate
*Must be able to work under pressure
*Must be able to summarize situations and take action where necessary
Expected salary: R20000 – 25000 per month
