Job description: Commercial Underwriter – FourwaysFull job descriptionEnvestpro Shortterm is an Independent Insurance Brokerage which has been operating in the Financial Services Industry for the past 22 years.We are looking to employ a Senior Commercial underwriter with Short Term knowledge.Ability to commute/relocate:Fourways or Midrand , Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)Responsibilities include -Liaising with clientsPreparing quotationsIssuing new policies, renewals, and endorsementsBuilding and maintaining good working relationships with clientsRecording details and information on the relevant systems.The candidate must have -5-10 years experience in Commercial underwritingRE 5 with 150 CreditsClass of Business in Commercial underwritingFit and Proper as per FAISSkilled in Excel and knowledge of Commercial administration systemsKnowledge on reconciliations on portfoliosGood verbal and written communication skillsGood administration, planning and organising skillsTime management skills and highly client-focusedJob Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: R20 000,00 – R35 000,00 per monthAbility to commute/relocate:North Riding, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)Application Question(s):Do you have the required RE5 certificate as well as your 120 credits as per Industry RegulationEducation:High School (matric) (Required)Experience:Commercial: 5 years (Required)
