Job description: Job Summary Lynnwood, Pta: LEGAL COLLECTIONS SECRETARY (x2) Minimum Requirements: -Well presentable and professional Afrikaans speaking -Afrikaans & English first & second languages a must (Afr & Eng client base) -Matric -2 to 3 years recent experience in Legal Collections at a law firm a must (Full Debt Collection function) -Body Corporate Levy Collections highly preferred -Experience in drafting of notices and pleadings (summonses, default judgements, warrants etc.) -Computer literate in MS Office, with good typing skills (speed and accuracy) -Computer proficiency in Ghost Practice, Legal Suite or similar systems advantageous -Attention for detail (grammar, case numbers etc.) -Strong communication skills and well spoken -Able to work under pressure and in a fast-paced work environment -Stable employment record and contactable References -To start as soon as possible Duties: -Legal Debt Collection, specifically Body Corporate Levy Collections -Drafting and typing of legal documents, notice and pleadings -General legal administrative and secretarial duties Salary: R 10 000.00 – R 17 000.00 gross maximum (depending on Collections experience) E-mail detailed CV in Word or PDF (not as a link) to and indicate the following in the subject line: – Reference CR2646; and – Your monthly gross salary expectation in context with offered amount.
