- Coordinate with auditors for required information and task list execution.
- Prepare year-end balances, trial balance, general ledger, and reconcile journals
- Assist with VAT and PAYE reconciliations to SARS statements.
- Provide bank statements and creditor/debtor reconciliations to auditors.
- Handle VAT audit recons and EMP 501 recons.
- Capture network assets on Sage and invoice entities for balance sheet inclusion.
- Calculate asset depreciation for year-end.
- Delegate tasks to the Junior Accountant, overseeing operations accounts, payment processing, and reconciliations. Provide daily instructions and ensure accuracy of all operations functions.
