Hybrid working (2 days a week in the office)A degree or diploma in Human Resources is essential for this role.Love being organised and seeing the results of your efforts through to fruition?We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Talent Acquisition Coordinator Intern to support our Recruitment Team.With the opportunity to work alongside experienced Talent Acquisition Leads, you will gain valuable insight into recruitment best practices as well as working alongside IT professionals throughout the course of your day in helping them land talent into the business.This role is initially for a fixed 6-month period but with the potential to extend at the end of the 6 months.As a Talent Acquisition Coordinator at Advania, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient execution of our recruitment efforts. As the face of the organisation, you will be highly conscious of your written and verbal communications as well as diligent and precise around the information you supply both internally and externally.ResponsibilitiesYou will be supported by the Talent Acquisition Leads in developing your competency in all the responsibilities below, but here are some of the tasks that you can expect to get involved in:
- Schedule interviews, prepare interview materials, and communicate with candidates and hiring managers to coordinate interview logistics.
- Keep candidates informed throughout the recruitment process, providing timely updates on their application status and next steps.
- Create and post job vacancies on various job boards, company website, and social media platforms. Ensure job descriptions are accurate and compelling.
- Review and screen incoming job applications, ensuring they meet minimum qualifications and requirements.
- Assist in sourcing candidates through resume databases, professional networks, and other channels to build a strong talent pipeline.
- Maintain accurate and confidential candidate files and records in compliance with data protection regulations.
Skills/Competencies we are looking for:If invited to interview, you will be asked to discuss examples of these competencies:Great organizational skills and attention to detail: You will be dealing with personal data, liaising with the business and external market and so a high level of precision is required to ensure interviews happen in a timely fashion and accurate information is supplied at all times. You will need to be well organized with systems in place in managing your workload so that timescales are efficient and appropriate to the task.Strong written and verbal communication skills required as you will need to be able to influence both internally (the business) and externally (candidate market) to ensure the process runs smoothly.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and applicant tracking systems: We can train you on using our ATS but a good level of Word and Excel is required for someone to be successful in this role.Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information: It goes without saying that we handle personal and sensitive data all day long. You will need to be judicious in what you share, with whom and at what point in the recruitment process.Excellent time management and multitasking abilities: A hire typically has a target start date, to that end things need to happen consistently and usually with some pace however, of more importance is your ability to prioritise, recognise what needs to be dealt with in what order and the consequences of not managing things at the right time. Similarly, to having strong organisational skills, your multi-tasking abilities will largely depend on the systems you use to manage your work.Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-service-oriented approach: We are a people-focussed team, the face of the company and often the first person that a candidate will speak to. You will spend a lot of time speaking to, and liaising with, hiring managers, interviewers, and candidates. Wanting to work with people to collaborate and develop relationships with all key stakeholders is a must.
