There are 40 office employees and roughly 160 technical/trade employees. This includes recruitment, performance management, employee relations, training, compliance, and driving organizational development initiatives. In this role, you’ll play a pivotal part in ensuring a cohesive and productive work environment while identifying opportunities to improve processes and policies. You’ll be the 2IC to the HR Manager and her stand in when she’s not around. You will be office based, in Epping, Monday to Friday 7am to 4pm.What you’ll needA National Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, along with 3-5 years of HR generalist experience. Familiarity with HR best practices, employment law, and HRIS systems is essential. We’re looking for someone that is experienced in performance management, recruitment, Employee Relations and HR Compliance. You’ll need strong organisational skills, an eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure. Additionally be a go getter that is self driven, takes initiative and shows leadership capabilities. Being a quick learner, great at building relationships and handling confidential information is critical. Experience in unionized or industrial environments and a background in the electrical or manufacturing industry are a preference.What you’ll getBesides a basic salary along with a contribution to retirement annuity (after probation) and optional medical insurance, you’ll have the possibility of earning a performance bonus.
