- Client is looking for a positive, outgoing candidate to join the team in reservations.
- You will be responsible for handling all reservations for a 22 roomed resort in Mozambique.
- Handle reservations and make regular bookings.
- Ensure that profiles of arriving guests are updated on the system.
- Dealing with Agents or guests complaints relating to bookings and inform the Reservations Manager.
- Assist with managing the marketing descriptions of properties
- Build relationships with trusted leisure partners and Agents.
- Manage channel managers and property management systems as required and allocated by the Reservations Manager.
- Ensure that confirmations of bookings are completed and sent out promptly.
- Respond to initial enquiries and requests.
- Liaise with departments and provide updates on arrivals, groups, special requests and functions.
- Ensure Proforma Invoices are sent out in time to guests and Agents.
- Follow up with guests on payment of Invoices.
- Assist with the maintenance and control of payment and commission procedures for all reservations.
- Manage waiting lists and provisional reservations in order to optimize occupancy and revenue
QualificationsHotel Management DiplomaSkillsThe candidate does not necessarily need to hold same position but would be preferred. Must then however have experience as receptionist or in front office looking for a 8-4 positions and moving into more stability. It would also suit someone is Sales wanting to settle for the office. Bubbly , positive attitude and willingness to learn… Training will be provided. Must be able to speak English and Afrikaans.
