Job description: Job SummaryResponsibilities:
- Fielding telephonic queries and managing the responses to generic enquiry email inboxes.
- Identify office needs (repairs/replacement of office equipment and office maintenance)
- Liaise with suppliers and obtain quotes -present for approval and manage process till end results achieved
- Manage and maintain a record of office equipment as per the working-from-home provision, as well as equipment not in use or in storage
- Administration of IT resources in office/printers as well as reporting connectivity issues by liaising with IT support and distributing communication to those affected.
- Assist with on-site events i.e. coordinate catering and set up of the meeting room/s.
- Manage the professional and welcoming appearance of the office and ensure effective housekeeping is maintained
- Liaise with the housekeeping staff and delegate tasks accordingly if and when required
- Provide backup to the governance secretariat by recording high-level minutes and servicing committee and board meetings when required
- Administration of the exemptions process as per the accreditation held with accredited universities.
- Assist with requests and projects within various departments as and when required.
- General administration tasks which include data capturing, filling, and liaising on behalf of other departments when required
Minimum Requirements:
- Post-matric qualification in office administration would be beneficial
- Matric
- At least 3 years experience in a similar role, including the servicing of high-level meetings.
- Tech savvy and working knowledge of Microsoft Teams and Zoom
- Proficient in Microsoft Office [Word, Excel, PowerPoint]
- An ability to work independently without close supervision and in a team.
- An ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
