Our dedication to innovation and client-centric services makes us the preferred partner for businesses and travelers across the region.Job Summary:The MICE Project Manager will lead the planning, coordination, and execution of high-quality corporate events, conferences, exhibitions, and incentive programs. This role requires a professional with strong organizational abilities, extensive experience in MICE logistics, and a proactive approach to delivering exceptional client experiences while adhering to budgets and timelines.Key Responsibilities:Event Planning and Coordination:
- Manage the full lifecycle of MICE projects from conception to execution.
- Oversee venue selection, transportation, accommodations, catering, and on-site operations.
- Align event strategies with client objectives and company goals.
Logistics and Operations:
- Independently manage logistics for meetings, conferences, and events.
- Create detailed project timelines, budgets, and contracts.
- Ensure seamless event execution through meticulous preparation and oversight.
Budget and Financial Management:
- Track and control event expenses to stay within budget.
- Handle pricing, invoicing, supplier payments, and financial reporting.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality.
Client and Vendor Relations:
- Foster positive relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Communicate effectively to ensure client satisfaction and goal alignment.
- Resolve any service issues with vendors and escalate when necessary.
Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure all events comply with company policies and client guidelines.
- Manage and maintain accurate data in project management systems like Qondor/AGM.
- Prepare post-event reports, evaluations, and recommendations for improvement.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Education: Matric and a Diploma in Travel and Tourism or a relevant qualification.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a MICE/travel environment, with at least 3 years in a MICE-specific role managing logistics.
- Proven track record in meetings, events, and conferencing.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Excel and project management tools.
- Other: Own car and valid drivers license.
