This is a great opportunity for a driven individual to gain valuable experience and grow within the hospitality sectorMinimum requirements:
- Matric certificate (essential)
- Tertiary qualification in Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field (advantageous)
- Previous experience in the tourism or hospitality industry
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Flexibility and adaptability with a hands-on approach
- Leadership potential and the ability to manage and motivate a small team
- Willingness to work weekends and public holidays
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in overseeing the daily operations of the guest house
- Supervise and support staff to ensure exceptional guest service
- Handle guest bookings, reservations, and inquiries
- Oversee check-ins and check-outs, ensuring a smooth guest experience
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and room readiness
- Assist in managing budgets, inventory, and financial reporting
- Contribute to strategies that increase guest satisfaction and improve bookings
