Job description: Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a Barista / Barman / All-Rounder to join our team immediately! If you have experience in the hospitality industry, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and are eager to contribute to a dynamic team, this is the role for you.Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of beverages, including coffee, cocktails, and specialized drinks.
- Create a welcoming and positive experience for guests.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and work area.
- Operate the POS system (Innkeeper knowledge advantageous).
- Work both independently and as part of a team, ensuring smooth service flow.
- Assist in other areas of the venue as needed, such as prepping drinks and serving food.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric qualification.
- 1-2 years’ experience in the hospitality industry.
- Prior experience as a Barman/Bar Lady and Barista will be an added advantage.
- Good all-round bar skills, including the ability to make cocktails and specialized drinks.
- Strong hands-on problem-solving approach, with the ability to stay calm under pressure.
- Well-versed in using POS systems (Innkeeper experience beneficial).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of honesty, trustworthiness, and attention to detail.
- Presentable, well-spoken, and able to lead by example.
