- 4 – 5 Star restaurant experience ESSENTIAL
- Diploma in Hospitality Management or similar beneficial
- 3 – 5 years’ restaurant management experience essential
- Must reside in the Fourways area
- POS system experience essential
- Ability to provide a welcoming, high-touch experience for guests, catering to discerning clientele
- Understanding and respecting different cultural norms and expectations
- Skilled in handling guest complaints discreetly and effectively
- Experience in controlling costs and maximising profitability without affecting the customer experience
- Knowledge of high-quality ingredients and the ability to manage stock efficiently
- Familiarity with strategies to drive customer engagement
- Ability to lead and motivate a team, especially with a focus on high service standards and staff retention
- Experience training staff, with an emphasis on etiquette and service standards, and menu knowledge
- Skilled at creating schedules to ensure optimal staff coverage, balancing high standards and operational needs
- High attention to aesthetics and quality in both food presentation and ambiance
- Understanding of health and safety regulations, ensuring the restaurants adheres to local and national standards
- Capable of handling a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with a calm demeanour
- Ability to anticipate issues before they arise and address them proactively
