Job description: Seeking suitable candidate for a Tally Clerk position, who has preferably worked in a cold storage facilityResponsibilities
- Responsible for receiving and loading of goods
- Responsible to check the quality of goods (in and out)
- Ensure temperature checks are done and inspect for damages of stock
- Responsible for the utilization of stock in the freezer
Requirements:
- Minimum: Matric
- (Recognition for prior learning (RPL) based on years of experience and knowledge gained will be granted to those already in the position).
- Preferred: Matric with Mathematics
Technical Competencies:
- Knowledge of Weight distribution
- Understanding of any Cold Storage Warehouse Management System
- Basic Food Safety Principles
- HACCP
- Understanding of Health and Safety
Experience:
- Minimum: 2 – 3 years experience in a high-volume colds store operation, within the food industry.
- Preferred: 3 to 5 years experience in a high-volume colds store operation, within the food industry.
Skills:
- Computer literate
- Able to Multi-task
- Good Communication (verbal and written)
- Ability to work under pressure
- Showing Initiative
Expected salary: R8000 per month
