Your role will involve implementing backup and recovery processes, handling disaster recovery exercises, and monitoring the health of Oracle environments. You will work with both system and application-level database tasks, collaborating closely with development teams and other stakeholders to maintain a secure, high-performing database infrastructure.KEY QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIRED SKILLS:Degree in Computer Science/IT or equivalent experience.2+ years’ experience in Oracle Database Administration, specifically with Oracle 19C.Strong knowledge of database security, backup/recovery, and disaster recovery processes.Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle tools such as RMAN.Familiarity with Oracle DBMS components like Data Guard, Oracle Vault, and Advanced Security.Experience with Linux and Windows OS environments.Exposure to cloud technologies is a plus.
Expected salary: R700000 – 800000 per year
