Our company in Pretoria is looking for a proactive and dependable Maintenance Technician to join their team. - Building Maintenance: You will be responsible for general maintenance and upkeep of the company’s buildings, ensuring they remain functional, safe, and in good repair. This includes addressing repairs as needed, performing routine inspections, and identifying areas that need attention.
- Purchasing and Supplier Relations: Sourcing materials and tools necessary for maintenance tasks, you will need to secure quotations, negotiate favorable terms with suppliers, and manage purchases in alignment with company budgets.
- Logistics: The role includes managing deliveries and collections. You will be responsible for picking up and delivering items to various locations as required by the management team.
- Miscellaneous Tasks: As a versatile support for the supervisor and management, you will handle a range of ad-hoc tasks that may arise in the day-to-day operations. These could include anything from setting up equipment to assisting with administrative tasks related to maintenance.
Requirements:
