Job description: We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance and General Assistant to contribute to the efficient operation and upkeep of our facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of maintenance and general assistance skills, demonstrating the ability to perform various tasks to ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment.Requirements:
- Minimum Matric or equivalent may be preferred.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
- Physical fitness and stamina for manual labor tasks.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and equipment.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Attention to detail and a focus on safety.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections of premises to identify and address maintenance issues.
- Perform repairs on electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems as needed.
- Ensure the proper functioning of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
- Conduct safety checks and address potential hazards
Expected salary: R5000 – 5500 per month
