Job description: Responsible for: Entire F&B operations, including kitchen, restaurant front of house, bar as well as an onsite shop.Responsibilities & Job Description:
- Oversee kitchen and production of meals,
- Menu planning
- Stock takes
- To keep cost of sales within that of property and group specifications, guest interaction
- Event planning
- Taking an active role in preparing of meals within the kitchen
- Staff training across the entire department
- Health & Safety protocols
- To stand in as duty manager as and when required.
Requirements:
- A cheffing background will be advantageous but not a prerequisite.
- Background in Food and Beverage Management,
- Strong written and spoken English,
- A working knowledge of Micros operating system.
- Ability to follow all sanitation procedures.
- Ability to work in a team.
- Very good communication skills
- In good health
- High school diploma or equivalent; Diploma from a Hotel School or culinary school will be an advantage.
- Ability to work independently without supervision.
- Out of the box thinker with an ability to envisage change and improvement across all aspects of the operations.
