Job description: Hire Resolve’s Client is seeking a Director of F&B to join their team. The Director of Food & Beverage will oversee all F&B operations across the property, ensuring exceptional guest experiences while driving profitability and operational excellence. The role demands strong leadership, strategic planning, and hands-on management to uphold high-quality standards, ensure seamless service, and achieve financial goals.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement F&B strategies aligned with the property’s overall objectives.
- Analyze industry trends to identify new opportunities for business growth.
- Set and enforce performance standards and operational policies for all F&B outlets.
Operations Management:
- Oversee the daily operations of restaurants, bars, banquets, and other F&B outlets.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Regularly review menus, service protocols, and overall guest experience.
Financial Oversight:
- Prepare and manage the F&B department’s annual budget, ensuring cost control and revenue generation.
- Monitor P&L reports and take corrective actions to address variances.
- Collaborate with procurement to optimize vendor relationships and manage inventory effectively.
Team Management:
- Lead, coach, and mentor the F&B team to foster professional growth and high morale.
- Conduct performance reviews and implement training programs for staff development.
- Promote a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
Guest Experience:
- Ensure that all F&B services exceed guest expectations.
- Manage guest feedback proactively and implement service recovery initiatives as needed.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years in F&B management roles, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership position in a luxury or high-end hospitality environment.
- Skills:
- Strong financial acumen and ability to manage budgets and forecasts.
- Excellent leadership and team-building capabilities.
- Proficiency in hospitality management software and tools.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Attributes
- Demonstrated success in improving guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.
- Experience in menu development and implementing F&B innovations.
- Deep knowledge of local and international cuisine, wines, and beverages.
