We are currently seeking a dedicated Management Accountant to join a reputable and growing manufacturing company based in Johannesburg East. As a key member of the finance team, you will play a critical role in providing financial insights and supporting management in decision-making processes. This role is ideal for a candidate currently busy with their CIMA qualification and at Management Level in their studies. Prior experience in the manufacturing industry will be highly advantageous.Duties:
- Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of reporting in line with company standards.
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with various departments to create and maintain accurate financial projections.
- Analyse and control costs, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring cost-effectiveness across the organisation.
- Conduct detailed variance analysis and explain the reasons for discrepancies between actual and budgeted figures, providing recommendations for corrective actions.
- Provide key financial insights to the management team to support strategic decision-making, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Job Experience & Skills Required:Qualifications:
- Relevant BCom degree
- CIMA
Experience:
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience.
