    Job description: Sales Manager – DurbanFull job descriptionDate: 29TH November 2024Vacancy – Branch Sales ManagerKyta Industries is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Branch Sales Manager for our Durban branch. This pivotal role involves overseeing the sales team’s performance and ensuring alignment with our strategic objectives. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following key areas:Key Responsibilities:· Oversee and evaluate the daily, weekly, monthly, and annual performance of the sales team, including Salespersons, Technical Sales Representatives, and Sales Administration, against sales targets and objectives.· Lead and manage the Sales Department by providing guidance, mentorship, and development opportunities to foster a high level of customer satisfaction and seamless integration with all other KYTA departments.· Cultivate and maintain exceptional relationships with customers through effective communication, service delivery, and diligent management of customer expectations, both directly and via the sales team.· Actively engage in Account Management for key branch and national accounts, addressing aspects such as products, pricing, service delivery, and stock projection for imported goods.· Deliver accurate reporting and forecasting for new and existing product demand, ensuring timely stock and importation strategies.· Develop a comprehensive understanding of clients’ business strategies and objectives to better align our offerings with their needs.· Establish and enforce compliance with sales practices within the branch, providing training for both new and existing team members on essential selling techniques, including call cycles, technical sales, customer service goals, negotiations, and closing strategies.· Serve as a primary point of escalation for customer complaints, implementing efficient resolutions in collaboration with branch and national operations teams.· Provide both office-based and on-site support for key projects and their implementation in a retail setting.· Ensure that the sales team adheres to KYTA’s customer service standards, particularly regarding timelines for sales administration tasks such as new product development, quotations, and sales order processing.· Develop and maintain a thorough technical understanding of KYTA’s products and offerings and train the sales team on these elements.· Collaborate with the design department to create new products based on proactive and reactive customer feedback.· Identify and explore additional business opportunities for KYTA among both new and existing clients.· Design and implement relevant sales promotions tailored to branch requirements.· Monitor compliance with established sales cycles and promotional activities within the business.· Maintain and update customer lists for the branch, setting sales targets and objectives that correspond with their specific needs.· Ensure that the sales team adheres to all company policies and regulations.· Track project progress and provide feedback to clients regularly.· Stay informed about current sales trends and developments in the retail market.· If you are a dynamic leader looking to make a significant impact in a sales management role, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity at Kyta Industries.
