Job description: Job Summary Our client in the Media and Printing Industry is looking to hire a Retail Sales Manager.Duties and Responsibilities
- Allocating Sales Targets and ensuring that they are achieved.
- Ensure staff always deliver excellent customer service.
- Provide sales service in store on copy center orders, passport id, etc.
- Adhering to Merchandising Standards
- Manage staff effectively. Inspire, motivate, and develop your staff compliment to drive sales and excellent work performance.
- Maintain work procedures and hold staff accountable should standards not be met.
- Be responsible for the day-to-day running of operations and sales.
- Provide daily reporting on sales to staff and management.
- Ensure that all employees have on-going training and development, including excellent product knowledge.
- Complete daily report as requested by Management.
- Ensuring all departments has enough stock.
- Daily cash ups
- Opening and locking of shop
Requirements and Skills
- Matric Senior Certificate
- Good Computer Skills (Excel, Email)
- Effective communication at all levels in both English and Afrikaans
- Have a proven record of exceeding sales targets, and at least 5 years previous management experience.
- All Copy Center duties which include printing, scanning, binding, laminating, gift range and photographic experience would be advantageous.
- The ability to establish good working relationships and work well in a team.
- Ability to work Retail Hours, a total of 195 hours worked per month according to a shift roster.
- Valid Driver’s License and own transport.
- Must be able to remain calm under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Basic HR knowledge
