Job description: Job Summary As Electrician, you will be responsible for ensuring machinery uptime, maintaining occupational health and safety standards, and managing all electrical distribution boards in compliance with the OSH Act. Your role will include conducting diagnostics, troubleshooting, and performing preventative maintenance to ensure maximum reliability. You will also be responsible for identifying and mitigating potential hazards, ensuring good housekeeping practices, and adhering to standard operating procedures.To qualify for this role, you need at least 5 years of post-apprenticeship trade experience in an FMCG or manufacturing environment and proficiency in fault finding on PLC inputs and outputs. You must also be skilled in mechanical component maintenance, with the ability to replace bearings, shafts, and other key components.
