Job description: RPO Recruitment’s client, renowned as a company in Gauteng who offers turnkey project management solutions, is currently seeking to employ a dedicated and hardworking Site Quantity Surveyor who can join their team in Johannesburg and contribute positively towards the success of their projects.Responsibilities:
- Provide expertise in cost management, estimation, and financial analysis for construction projects ensuring projects are completed within budget by preparing estimates, monitoring expenses, assessing variations, and providing cost advice thereby playing a crucial role in maximising project profitability
- Sub-Contractor Valuations
- Cost Management
- Procurement / Appointments
- Contract Administration
- Cost Reporting
- Risk Management
- Final Accounts
Requirements:
- BTech or BSc degree in Quantity Surveying
- 1-3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Proficiency in MS Office, WinQS, DimX/Planswift software
- Understanding of a Corporate / Construction environment
- Knowledge Construction Costing and Procurement principles, systems, processes and procedures
- Knowledge of JBCC contracts
