An international and exciting digital marketing agency are on the hunt for a seasoned UX Designer to join their ever expanding team of designers in Cape Town.Somerset West | Onsite | R35k – R40k pmPOSITION INFO:
Role Description:This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior User Experience located in Somerset West. The
Senior UX Designer will be responsible for leading day-to-day activities involved in designing digital
products that deliver effortless user experiences. This role will collaborate with cross-functional
teams to create user-centered designs that meet business and user needs.Responsibilities:â Lead the end-to-end UX design process for mobile applications, from ideation to execution,
ensuring alignment with project goals and user requirements.
â Conduct user research, usability testing, and competitive analysis to gather insights and
inform design decisions.
â Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups communicating design concepts
and user interactions.
â Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to translate business
requirements into innovative, user-friendly design solutions.
â Establish and maintain design systems, guidelines, and best practices to ensure consistency
and scalability across all WebWiser.io applications.
â Iterate designs based on feedback, user testing results, and emerging industry trends to
continuously improve the user experience.
â Mentor junior designers and contribute to a culture of design excellence within the
organization.
â Stay updated on emerging technologies, design tools, and industry trends to enhance design
processes and stay ahead of the curve.Qualifications:â Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field. Master’s degree
preferred.
â 5+ years of professional experience in UX/UI design, focusing on mobile applications.
â Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of mobile app design projects and proven track
record of delivering high-quality user experiences.
â Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, and Adobe CC.
â Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, interaction design, and information
architecture.
â Experience working in an agile development environment and collaborating with
cross-functional teams.
â Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
â Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight
deadlines.
â Familiarity with accessibility standards and guidelines is a plus.
