Job description: Construction Supervisor – Laingsburg, Western Cape Full job description We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Supervisor to join our team for an exciting windfarm project. This role requires a candidate who is willing to relocate to Witberg or Eastern Cape and is ready to manage the complexities of a large-scale renewable energy project. Responsibilities Oversee the preparation and execution of project plans, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards. Manage daily activities of the construction team, including subcontractors, to maintain productivity and high-quality output. Provide regular updates on project progress to the Construction and Project Managers. Implement and maintain company quality standards in line with SANS, ISO, SABS, and IEC requirements. Ensure timely availability and optimal use of materials and equipment. Monitor attendance, manage performance, and address training and development needs within the team. Enforce compliance with health and safety procedures, taking immediate corrective actions where necessary. Qualifications and Skills Extensive experience in construction management, particularly in large-scale projects. Strong understanding of project management tools and techniques. Proven ability to manage teams and subcontractors effectively. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
