- Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in the chemical/metal finishing industry
- Knowledge of chemical products, their properties, applications and associated regulations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
- Professional and persuasive negotiation skills with a focus on consultative selling
- Strong analytical and problem solving abilities to understand client needs and propose tailored solutions
- Self-motivated, driven and able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Flexibility to travel as required for client visit and industry events
Key responsibility
- Actively identify and cultivate new sales opportunities within the chemical metal finishing industry sectors
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, providing them with outstanding support and service
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions and competitors’ activities
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless order fulfilment and customer satisfaction
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts and reports for management review
- Attend industry conferences, trade shows and client meetings to promote the company’s products and services
