Job description: Job Summary
As the Financial Manager, your duties include the following:
Oversee the full finance function: budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
Guide the company’s financial strategy, accounting practices, and stakeholder relationships
Act as a key liaison with banks, stakeholders, and clients on all finance-related matters
Manage and mentor the finance team, fostering high performance
Strengthen financial systems, controls, and processes
Partner with senior leadership to align financial strategy with broader business goals
Maintain the financial health of the business
Ensure the company maintains adequate insurance coverage annually for assets
Manage debt collection processes and the company’s budget
Prepare management accounts
Prepare year-end financials
Stay informed on industry-specific tax laws, regulatory changes, and emerging financial systems
Assist when it comes to costing for senior leadership
Process Payroll
Ensure compliance when it comes to BBEEE requirements
Additional ad-hoc duties as requiredSkills & Experience:
Proven experience managing a team
Completed SAICA articles
Proficiency in SAGE EvolutionQualification:
BCom Honours
