Job description: Job Summary Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders across banking divisions (e.g., retail, commercial, compliance) to gather and document business requirements.
- Conduct thorough analyses of banking processes, identifying opportunities to streamline operations and reduce risks.
- Develop project roadmaps and create detailed requirements specifications, use cases, and workflows.
- Analyze financial and customer data to support business objectives and regulatory compliance initiatives.
- Liaise with IT teams to ensure technical solutions align with regulatory and business requirements.
- Support the development of business cases for new banking products or technology investments.
- Facilitate testing processes, including developing test cases and participating in User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Keep updated on regulatory changes and ensure project documentation and implementation meet compliance standards.
- Prepare reports and dashboards to monitor project progress, KPIs, and outcomes for senior management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within the banking or financial services industry.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of banking products, processes, and regulatory requirements (e.g., KYC, AML, Basel III).
- Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, SQL).
- Familiarity with Agile project management and tools like JIRA or Confluence.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical skills with an ability to interpret complex data and regulatory requirements.
- Certifications like CBAP, CFA, or Six Sigma, are an advantage.
