This company is a diversified South African-based logistics and freight services company, specializing in integrated supply chain solutions. This environment is one of constant innovation and growth.Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- Manage automation and review process, coordinating with divisions and external providers to ensure tax computations are compliant.
- Structure year-end tax process, set deadlines, and ensure timely submission of tax computations, resolving queries for all entities.
- Ensure tax return submissions, provisional tax calculations, payments, and responses to SARS queries for selected entities.
- Assist with transfer pricing, VDP submissions, tax queries resolution, indirect tax returns, audits, and dispute resolution with SARS.
- Support ad hoc tax projects, optimize tax efficiency, and ensure compliance in restructures and key transactions.
- Oversee tax training, manage clearance certificates, and ensure adherence to SARS policies and deadlines.
Qualifications and Experience Required:
- Postgraduate in taxation is preferred.
- 8 to 10 years RSA and International tax experience is essential
- Supply Chain, Logistics or similar experience is beneficial.
