- Manage automation and review processes by collaborating with divisions and external providers to ensure tax computations meet compliance standards.
- Oversee the year-end tax process, establish timelines, and ensure timely tax computation submissions while resolving queries across all entities.
- Ensure accurate tax return submissions, calculate provisional taxes, process payments, and handle SARS-related queries for designated entities.
- Assist with transfer pricing, VDP submissions, indirect tax returns, audits, and dispute resolution with SARS.
- Contribute to tax optimization, compliance in restructures, and major transactions, while supporting ad hoc tax projects.
- Provide tax training, manage clearance certificates, and ensure compliance with SARS regulations and deadlines.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A Postgraduate Degree in taxation is preferred.
- 8–10 years of experience in South African and international tax is essential.
- Experience in the supply chain, logistics, or related industry is advantageous.
